The initial symptom was penile
induration in all patients.
In this study, there was a relationship between BCG scar counts and the
induration diameter.
An
induration of broken coal masses bound with expandable material with high water content was 40 mm high, with a diameter of 50 mm, representing the strength of the
induration after the slurry was injected into the borehole (as shown in Figure 5(b)).
His physical examination was significant for an extensive area of
induration in the right upper back extending into the back of the neck, measured about 25 cm x 20 cm in size, and had a 3 cm x 4 cm x 3 cm area of fluctuation with erythema and tenderness (Figure 1).
The TST was performed according to the Mantoux method by injecting 5 tuberculin units (TU) of purified protein derivative into the inner surface of the forearm and then measuring the maximal size of the
induration after 72 hours, as recommended [6].
Non-tender
induration of the right flank was present.
Examination under anesthesia demonstrated phimosis with purulent drainage from the phimotic ring as well as
induration of the penile shaft (Figure 1).
It is performed by injecting 0.1 mL (5 TU) of the purified protein derivative (PPD) on the volar surface of the forearm using a 27-gauge needle and measuring the
induration after 48-72 h.
Perineal nodular
induration (PNI), or biker's nodule, is a rare, bothersome, pseudotumour.
6 Endermic
induration and inflammation in injection site can influence the insulin absorption and change qualities of insulin to some extent.
Physical examination revealed multiple well-demarcated oval and geographic plaques with central white
induration with areas of superficial erosion and pink peripheral borders on the breasts, inframammary folds, midchest, and abdomen that were exquisitely tender to light palpation.
The
induration diameter was measured after 72 hours by the pen-point method and was recorded in mm.
