Activation function of sgn(.) transfers deep features to
binary codes. Semi-supervised loss functions are helpful to preserve the semantic similarity and to detect multi objects in an image.
Our goal is to learn a function H(x) mapping input images to compact
binary codes [b.sub.i] = H([x.sub.i]) and [b.sub.i] [member of] [{0,1}.sup.C], where C stands for the hash length.

binary codes for large-scale image retrieval," in Proceedings of IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR '11), pp.
Since the
binary codes are almost everywhere, even using relatively good camera optical systems used in the latest mobile devices, there may be some problems with such QR codes, which can be often solved by slight modifications of the software related to appropriate preprocessing of the acquired image.
The nature of the in situ modification is to reuse old
binary codes reserved within the program flash.
The researchers created the
binary code through DNA markers to preserve the text of the bookRegenesis: How Synthetic Biology Will Reinvent Nature and Ourselves in DNA.
According to this technique, an input digital
binary code [s.sub.M] is transformed into a new code [q.sub.K] via a matrix transformation A.
Current magnetic memory devices, such as the hard drives in most computers, 'write' information into ferromagnetic materials by flipping the magnetic polarity of discrete areas of the storage medium to correspond with the 1 or 0 of a computer's
binary code.
In our proposed scheme, a representative is converted (encoded) into a
binary code of fixed length.
Whang chose images from the masterpieces of Korean and Chinese ink landscapes and digitized them (usually enlarging them in the process) so that the subtle brushstrokes and the ink's nuances and gradations turned into a
binary code, according to which the tiny square plastic blocks were then arranged.
It's more than what can be reduced to
binary code and uploaded onto the Net.
