The antioxidant potential of allspice oil was evaluated by many researchers and all of them have found that this essential oil has good antioxidant activity and can be utilized as a natural antioxidant [7, 8, 12, 13].
Pressure and temperature modify the apparent solubility of allspice oil in the SC-C[O.sub.2] (Table 1).
Vapour tests of oregano and allspice oils indicated that these two oils diffuse more efficiently through the air than through direct contact with the bacteria.
