Stolbovoi Island

 

an island in the southwestern part of the archipelago of the Novosibirskie Islands (Yakut ASSR), in the eastern part of the Laptev Sea. Stolbovoi Island covers an area of approximately 170 sq km and has a maximum elevation of 222 m. Composed chiefly of granites, the island has some arctic tundra.
