Define what a "reasonable" response is to unceasing, unapologetic, increasingly aggressive misogyny. It certainly isn't an occasional cutesy posting from you to Melmud saying "Stahp that, you thilly thing!"

      LOL!
      Stahp it! You're killing me!

    • 2022 January 11, J. Elle, Ashes of Gold (Wings of Ebony)‎[5], Simon and Schuster, →ISBN, →LCCN, page 178:

Usage notes

[edit]
  • Chiefly used in the imperative.
  • This may be a better choice than stooop to represent an elongated pronunciation of stop, even if the speaker's dialect distinguishes the two vowels, since the spelling stahp can only represent this one word.
