The "wǔbǐ input method" (Simplified Chinese: 五笔字型; Traditional Chinese: 五筆字型) is an input method of Chinese characters, invented by Wang Yongmin (王永民), named after the categorization of strokes into five types. This system is based on the components of a character.

These indices rely on the rime-wubi scheme.
