Mentioning what's off-limits
[edit]Re: this edit: Yes, we do mention that some islands are off-limits to visitors. See Andaman and Nicobar Islands#Stay safe for an example. I don't think that a 1-liner listing for Varanasi in the Uttar Pradesh article is the right place to mention that the interiors of many temples in Varanasi are off-limits to non-Hindus, so I agree with your deletion, but that absolutely should be mentioned in the Varanasi article, and I'm not sure it is. I'm not seeing such a mention, at a cursory glance, and the term "non-Hindu" doesn't seem to be in that article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:58, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
- I have just mentioned it under Varanasi#Temples. Thank you. Sbb1413 (he) (talk • contribs) 07:04, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

The archive
[edit]When moving former versions of pages to the archive, please make sure they are properly linked. Talk:Mungo National Park has a link to the former version (it was redeveloped in userspace), but that was redlinked because you moved it without leaving a redirect. Where the previous version went cannot be seen in the article history, as the entry only says "SHB2000 moved page User:SHB2000/Mungo National Park to Mungo National Park: finished article. now usable, so can replace the one in mainspace". The move trace is preserved in the moved-away history, which is little help if you cannot find it. I don't think anyone who wants to check the history should need to know about Wikivoyage:Archive. –LPfi (talk) 08:36, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you. I have kept a redirect in later moves. Sbb1413 (he) (talk • contribs) 08:42, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
