BTS article importance class?

[edit]

I think BTS' article should be made top importance, as they have become internationally notable and the article no longer fits the top class description which is "Subject is extremely notable, but has not achieved international notability, or is only notable within a particular continent". Would I possibly be able to do this myself, or would someone else need to do it? 🎸✒️ ZoidChan23 🥁🍕 00:09, 14 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ZoidChan23, you can do it on yourself. but before you do that, please read the Assessment of Pop Music. ROY is WAR Talk! 04:36, 21 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing double single situation

[edit]

Hello! In October 2024, Poppy released a double single titled "The Cost of Giving Up / Crystallized", and both songs are from her album Negative Spaces. However, in March 2025, "The Cost of Giving Up" was officially sent to radio as a single. How should this be reflected in her discography page? Should it be kept as "The Cost of Giving Up / Crystallized" (2024) or "The Cost of Giving Up" (2025), and what would happen to "Crystallized"? Gabriella Grande (talk) 18:14, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion about WikiProject banner templates

[edit]

For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:

There is a proposal to change the default wording on the banners to say "priority" instead of "importance". This could affect the template for your group. Please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Council#Proposal to update wording on WikiProject banners. Featured Article status of The Long and Winding Road under review

[edit]

I have nominated The Long and Winding Road for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured article criteria, or help improve the article. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" in regard to the article's featured status (see review instructions). Sourcing at Mariah Carey albums

[edit]

Don't particularly plan to get involved but it may be worth taking a look into the sources of the articles by Petergriffin9901 as I've noticed that a good chunk of the information on The Emancipation of Mimi is fabricated. I'm currently working on the article to remove these. 750h+ 03:08, 14 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Manon Bannerman – is this now ready for mainspace?

[edit]

Hello. I’ve been improving Draft:Manon Bannerman and significantly expanded the independent sourcing, especially in the career section. I’d appreciate feedback on whether the draft now appears to meet notability and sourcing expectations for eventual acceptance, and whether any final changes would strengthen it before review. Thank you. 21mis (talk) 09:44, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Draft notability help?

[edit]

Can someone take a peek at Draft:Take the Time and see if it meets NSONG? The draft was made by Danaphile, who has the very admirable goal of making an article for every Johnny Mathis single. This was deleted at AfD (second time was more of a procedural one) and I protected the page.

I'm concerned that the coverage is still a bit too light to pass NSONG. I wanted to get some input but also see if anyone could help Danaphile out with this. Mathis is well known enough to where you'd think there would be coverage for his works to justify articles for the singles. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 19:32, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

In the meantime, I did remove the page protection. It doesn't seem necessary at this point, honestly, even if the draft doesn't pass. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 19:34, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Just to clarify, a previous attempt at an article called "Take the Time" was deleted twice at AfD. It was a track from a Dream Theater album that was not released as a single. For the Mathis article, I've included chart statistics and stand-alone reviews of the song from the three major music trade publications. Danaphile (talk) 02:11, 16 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

What is "single"?

[edit]

Nowadays musicians release videoclips on youtube. Some of them, such as Otyken, list them as "singles". Are they really singles?

  1. What are the criteria for somethjing to be single?
  2. When/which video clips deserve to be listed in the bio?
  3. In general, are there any guidelines to write musicians' bios (besides WP:NMUSIC)?--Altenmann >talk 17:37, 17 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You can check out WP:SINGLES, I think it sums things up pretty well. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 15:51, 21 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Prodded twice, this probably should go to WP:AfD. Bearian (talk) 12:53, 17 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Saint Satine

[edit]

Hi! I'm working on a draft for Saint Satine, a new girl group from Hybe and Geffen Records (Draft:Saint Satine). Since they just debuted and were formed through the survival show World Scout: The Final Piece, I would appreciate any help with expanding the discography section or finding more independent sources to establish notability. Thank you. Techgamer534 (talk) 11:47, 19 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Help needed for upcoming boy band draft: Draft:And2ble

[edit]

Hi everyone! I am currently helping to clean up and expand the draft for Draft:And2ble, a new South Korean boy band under Yuehua Entertainment scheduled to debut in just a few days, on May 26, 2026. The group features well-known members from Zerobaseone and Evnne (including Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Han Yu-jin, and Yoo Seung-eon). Given their imminent debut, I would highly appreciate any help from fellow editors to improve the draft before it goes live. Specifically, assistance with the following would be amazing:

  • Adding and verifying reliable third-party sources (Korean or global music media).
  • Setting up the infobox parameters correctly.
  • Preparing the discography and videography table structures for the debut release.

Thank you so much for your time and help! Techgamer534 (talk) 17:41, 19 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Draft proposals for Saint Satine members (Lexie Levin, Samara Siqueira and Emily Kelavos)

[edit]

Hi! Now that Draft:Saint Satine is in development, I think we have strong ground to create independent drafts for three of its members, as they have notable pre-debut activities that meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for creative professionals. They are:

  • Emily Kelavos: Former competitive dancer named Teen Female Dancer of the Year (2021 Nationals), signed with Bloc LA talent agency, and performed at Coachella 2025 as a background dancer for XG. She also participated in Dream Academy.
  • Samara Siqueira: She participated in Dream Academy and starred in music videos for The Bootcampers.
  • Lexie Levin: Widely covered by media like Vogue HK due to her self-producing background and her viral withdrawal from Dream Academy to prioritize mental health.

If anyone is interested in co-creating or mentoring these drafts, I can help gather independent reliable sources from Teen Vogue, Vogue HK, and Grazia to back them up. Let me know your thoughts! Techgamer534 (talk) 10:28, 21 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Draft: Chandler Leighton, submitted for review

[edit]

I just created Draft:Chandler_Leighton, who I think meets the criteria for notability. Leighton was a contestant on American Idol season 14 and 15. Since launching her solo career she has amassed 1 Million monthly listeners on Spotify, and a number of articles have been made about her and her debut album released in 2024. The draft is currently pending AfC review. Some of the sources are not about her as the subject but rather the specific Idol Episodes she was on and is mentioned in passing or confirming when she was on tour via a 3rd party website archiving past tour dates. Where does this go from here? MariaIsmene (talk) 04:09, 22 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Update This Article has been moved to the article space. MariaIsmene (talk) (She/Her) — Preceding undated comment added 20:50, 27 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Drafts opened for Saint Satine members (Emily Kelavos, Lexie Levin, Samara Siqueira) - Collaboration welcome!

[edit]

Hi community! Now that the master article for Draft:Saint Satine is underway, I have set up three independent biographical drafts for its members to document their extensive individual pre-debut careers:

The drafts have been structured properly with baseline infoboxes, inline references (from Vogue HK, Bandwagon Asia, IMDb, etc.), and clean draft categories. Please feel free to jump in and help expand their career histories, verify additional international media sources, polish the prose before they are submitted for mainspace review, or adding an image uploaded from Wikimedia Commons. Thank you for your collaborative help! Techgamer534 (talk) 10:41, 23 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
