[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page 2023 Union Square riot has been reverted.
Your edit here to 2023 Union Square riot was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://http://youtube.com/watch?v=kQyzo0YlDOA) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:05, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Young Pappy when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 17:56, 19 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: "archived" in an FA nomination means closed

[edit]

I noticed you posted a "ping" notice in the archived FA nomination: ping here.

FYI: that nomination was "archived" about 12 hours ago by an FA coordinator. In FA lingo, "archived" means the nomination is closed or terminated. The archive notice is near the bottom of the nomination page.

If you want to re-nominate the article, you should probably do this:

  1. Talk with the Eclipse user that was the major contributor
  2. Go thru a WP:Peer review process for the article
  3. Wait two months (from today) to nominate it again (continue working on the article during that time)

Noleander (talk) 21:04, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Young Pappy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Young Pappy (3rd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Non-free rationale for File:Young Pappy in Killa video (fair use).jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Young Pappy in Killa video (fair use).jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under the non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Orphaned non-free image File:WusYaName Sample Audio (2025).ogg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:WusYaName Sample Audio (2025).ogg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:44, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Lamarr Wilson 2012.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the non-free content guidelines, please add the appropriate non-free use tag and rationale.

-- Marchjuly (talk) 06:55, 23 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Lamarr Wilson

[edit]

On 22 February 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lamarr Wilson, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Lamarr Wilson was known for his unorthodox reviews, once testing a "spill-proof" mug by hitting it with a baseball bat? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lamarr Wilson. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Lamarr Wilson), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Lamarr Wilson did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. The edit summary field looks like this:

or in the visual editor:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Describe what you changed

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button.
