DYK for NCAA Season 6 basketball tournaments
On 21 January 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article NCAA Season 6 basketball tournaments, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that after a retabulation showed an overtime was needed, Ateneo put its 1930 NCAA basketball championship round game against UST under protest as one of the two referees already left? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/NCAA Season 7 basketball tournaments. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, NCAA Season 6 basketball tournaments), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi, I note your comments at this ongoing RM discussion.
It is entirely possible to emphasize your arguments at an RM discussion without resorting to cursing. Per WP:CIVIL: "Article talk pages should be, on the whole, considered to be professional workspaces." I urge you to participate in such discussions "in a respectful and considerate way", and to consider editing your comment to remove this abrasive language. 162 etc. (talk) 00:14, 30 January 2025 (UTC)
- If you are offended by the words of my arguments, you can report me to the appropriate drama board. Howard the Duck (talk) 00:18, 30 January 2025 (UTC)

Grace Poe endorses Tito Sotto, Bam Aquino, and Pia Cayetano
Grace Poe endorses all three candidates at the FPJ Panday Partylist rally. I think you should add it on the Senate election page.
https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/topstories/nation/936423/poe-backs-senatorial-bets-tito-bam-pia-at-grand-fpj-rally/story/ PaulGorduiz106 (talk) 13:45, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
- I dunno if endorsements by an outgoing senator are worth to be included. Unless it came from a president or vice president, everyone else looks to be unimportant enough (see coattail effect). In any case, this can be added to the Alyansa and KiBam pages. Howard the Duck (talk) 14:49, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
Philippine Local Election Results 1946-2022
Hi! I will be adding information on local and congressional election results for all cities and municipalities in NCR from 1946 (earliest) to 2022. Im currently in the process of encoding those data. I will let you know once I am done and will upload those information here in Wiki. Most of the data were given to my by COMELEC's Election Records Division. Thank you Don Ilagan24 (talk) 16:54, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

- Are you able to upload these on a Google Drive? We need congressional results from 2001 to 2007 we don't have that. Howard the Duck (talk) 01:22, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- not yet. Im still on the process of encoding those to MS Excel. I am also planning to encode them directly here in Wikipedia thereafter. I have info on NCR Congressional Race results from 2001 to 2007 Don Ilagan24 (talk) 01:25, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- if these were hardcopies, I'd recommend adding these to Wikipedia unless you have a scanner. Please use {{Election results}}. Howard the Duck (talk) 02:53, 1 March 2025 (UTC)

DYK for 2025 Philippine barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections
On 24 June 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2025 Philippine barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that bills to postpone the 2025 Philippine barangay elections were filed even after the Supreme Court declared unconstitutional the postponement of the 2023 elections? Ateneo Men's basketball
Hi Howard, I made an extensive draft for the Ateneo basketball article but it's been deleted. I saw your talk on the article and a year by year was deleted because it didn't have sources. I managed to save a draft of an earlier version of my draft with sources. Can I send you the text file so you can incorporate it? I don't want to just dump the entire contents when it appears that the editor will just get rid of it for being promotional.
Thanks. Gruaro (talk) 02:10, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- It's on the Ateneo Blue Eagles men's basketball article now and has not been removed for months. Howard the Duck (talk) 03:22, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

Vice Governor of Bohol would be equivalent of Lieutenant Governor of a United States state: in fact both titles link to the same article. Therefore, the subject would be presumed to be notable under NPOL. What do you think? Bearian (talk) 01:41, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
- No, as the Philippines is not a federal country. Howard the Duck (talk) 09:16, 1 July 2025 (UTC)

ABS-CBN coverage of the UAAP
Hello, so I've just made an article that you've requested on Tambayan two years ago, the ABS-CBN coverage of the UAAP. Please let me know if there's anything I can add to the article or improve on. Hope it's what you had in mind when you made the request two years ago. Thanks. D-Flo27 (talk) 02:38, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- Nice work. You can submit it for WP:DYK. Howard the Duck (talk) 07:01, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

The article Jose de Venecia III has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The subject does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for biographies of living persons. There is little to no coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Article relies heavily on primary or non-independent references. As the subject is not a public figure, the article also raises privacy concerns under WP:BLP.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:32, 20 August 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to NCAA Season 101 basketball tournaments. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in red at the top of the page. Thanks. - FYI, this doesn't show up as a warning in Wikitext editor, or did not notice it, at least when I am saving it. Howard the Duck (talk) 23:10, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
Re: Carl Borgmann
Hello and thanks for taking on this review to fulfill your QPQ. Do you intend to start this review soon? Viriditas (talk) 21:06, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
- If I don't hear back from you by late Sunday, early Monday, I will remove your QPQ review and look for another reviewer. I don't want to run into another situation like Template:Did you know nominations/Yunus Emre power station. All the hooks are on time constraints. Best practice is to review a hook before adding it as a QPQ. You can see how I did that for four of them before nominating my own. Thanks. Viriditas (talk) 21:12, 5 September 2025 (UTC)

Re: Clarification tag on Salome Salvi article
Hi! I saw the {{Which}} tag you added to the Salome Salvi article regarding her alma mater. I checked the cited sources (specifically the PEP.ph interview), and they only state she graduated from the "University of the Philippines" generally, without specifying a constituent campus.
Per WP:Verifiability, I've kept the wording as "University of the Philippines" to accurately reflect the source material rather than guessing the specific campus. If a reliable source specifying the campus comes up later, I will definitely update it. Thanks for reviewing! ACROM12 [TALK] 02:05, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
- There should be another WP:RS stating that this was UP Diliman. I've been tagging "University of the Philippines" post WWII as it should be clear which UP university was this. UP is not a university, but a university system, and the constituent universities are indeed universities and not merely just campuses. Howard the Duck (talk) 02:13, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Howard the Duck, thanks for the feedback regarding the UP System distinction. I did some further digging and found a GMA Network ([1]) article that explicitly specifies she graduated from University of the Philippines Diliman. I have updated the article and added the specific citation to resolve the ambiguity. Thanks for catching that! ACROM12 [TALK] 02:42, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
