Disambiguation link notification for March 28
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sahaganj, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Subdivision. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]
Hello Babin Mew! Your additions to Sahaganj Dunlop Factory have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 15:33, 31 March 2025 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Early life of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Early life of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Sarat_Chandra_Chattopadhyay#Early_life. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Sarat_Chandra_Chattopadhyay#Early_life. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 10:59, 24 October 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:58, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Johnny Klebitz
[edit]Hey bud, I hate to be one to poo poo new article creations, but I do have to say that I'm concerned about the number of unreliable or marginally reliable sources. For example, SVG and WhatCulture are both unreliable per the Video games WikiProject's reliable sources database. Further, when constructing articles, I like to have at least three good sources to serve as a reliable anchor for notability. Can you identify what you think the three strongest sources used in the article are? - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 21:05, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
- User:Rhain has removed the unreliable and most of the marginally reliable sources. It should be mostly fine for the sources now. Babin Mew (talk) 03:45, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

S M Moniruzzaman page
[edit]Good day Mr. Babin Mew. I am the personal secretary of Mr. S M Moniruzzaman sir. It would be very helpful if you did not edit the texts I have been doing as per sir’s direction. Thank you for understanding. Nrkey56 (talk) 02:47, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I have no problem with you being the secretary of Mr. S. M. Moniruzzaman. However, the edits you had made appear to add unreferenced text to the page. Unreferenced content is generally discouraged in Wikipedia, and especially not allowed for the pages of a living person. Since the article or page about Mr. Moniruzzaman is about a living person, almost all of the text present in it should be sourced. References are those blue bracketed numbers after a period. All of the text in the page about him is referenced. Addition of only text to pages about living persons without any references is not allowed, and will be removed. If there are reliable references (sources) that fully support the content being added, then please feel free to add it. Reliable sources are by trusted news publications, books and websites. Blog sites, or self-published websites are not allowed. Without violating copyright protection, the text found in a reliable source may be added. So generally, unreferenced content on pages about living persons is not allowed, even if you have permission from the person who the page is about. This page is helpful regarding the policies of Wikipedia. If you plan on adding content supported by sources or references, then you may list the references here, replying to this post, so that I can dictate which sources are reliable and can be used.
- TL;DR: All text on articles about living persons must be fully referenced. Addition of unreferenced content is prohibited. Babin Mew (talk) 07:28, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war, according to the reverts you've made to Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. This means that you are repeatedly reverting content back to how you think it should be, despite knowing that other editors disagree. Once it is known that there is a disagreement, users are expected to collaborate with others, avoid editing disruptively, and try to reach a consensus – rather than repeatedly reverting the changes made by other users.
Important points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive behavior – regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not engage in edit warring – even if you believe that you are right.
You need to discuss the disagreement on the article's talk page and work towards a revision that represents consensus among everyone involved. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution if discussions reach an impasse. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to engage in edit warring, you may be blocked from editing. Cabayi (talk) 10:39, 28 May 2026 (UTC)
