Speedy deletion nomination of Emirates Islamic
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Emirates Islamic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Jmertel23 (talk) 16:49, 11 May 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Tacyarg. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to London Business School have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 22:16, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hello Tacyarg, I'm not sure why this is being flagged as promotional. This is a not for profit academic institute with this academic degree program since 1967. How is this information not expected to be on wikipedia? can you advise what would make this entry not promotional. The only link of source one can provide is the school's own website. Who other than the school can verify this is a legitimate degree program at London Business School. Atif Siddiqui (talk) 15:42, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, Atif Siddiqui. Information on Wikipedia should reflect that in reliable secondary sources. If sources like that haven't covered the courses at London Business School, they may not be notable enough to be included. Have a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Higher education, which may help. About the article in general, there is a lot of unsourced information, such as the paragraph starting
Beyond academics, the school puts an emphasis
, some of the notable former pupils, the list of deans and the history section - some of that has citations to the organisation's website, but when following those links, they don't verify the information. Hope that helps, Tacyarg (talk) 16:53, 6 May 2026 (UTC)- I've flagged up the article at the WikiProject, so hoping some other editors may help. Tacyarg (talk) 17:06, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
