Hello! After being a longtime user/talk page lurker of Wikipedia and learning more about wiki policies and guidelines, in early 2025 I finally felt comfortable enough to start contributing.
In my professional life I'm a researcher/data analyst for a public policy institute. My work is primarily focused on designing and conducting quantitative research studies related to the criminal justice system that help stakeholders and policy makers make data-informed decisions. Not gonna lie, it's my dream job.
In my personal life I'm a historical embroidery enthusiast, miniaturist, and horror movie connoisseur.
To Do
[edit]Murder of Jong-Ok Shin
[edit]- Trial: Add other defendant (charges on assisting) and rape charges
- about evidence presented and defense arguments? Better context for why two hung juries
- Subsequent developments: more information about questions of innocence/evidence/recantations
