Hi y'all! I'm just a spaceflight enthusiast who learns a lot from looking around the internet, and wants to share the knowledge with others. I'm by no means limited to spaceflight, though - I'll happily contribute to articles about aeronautics, books, video games or other topics, and I'm open to collaborations on those. And if whimsy strikes me, I'll edit articles regarding just about anything what I've read about - and I read a lot.
I usually only edit in an ad-hoc manner, whenever I have the mood and/or something to add - I usually don't go hunting for pages to edit. But I often get a bit too excited about adding a fun fact I saw somewhere that I forget about sourcing, and assume it being a bold edit is enough. Sorry if you run into one of those and it's not good. If you do, feel free to do the RD parts of BRD. Hopefully there won't be too many of those.
'Hal' is not my real name, by the way - just my prefered online nickname. If you see a HalNordmann somewhere else on the net, that's probably me. (Feel free to say hi!) I joined Wikipedia officially in 2024, but made a fair few edits beforehand.
From my activity on Wikipedia, I helped a bit with getting Integrate-Transfer-Launch Complex off the ground alongside a few other users, and created the page for the Mark 10 missile launcher - but that's about it for new pages. I'm mainly just helping add to pages of others, with the work on Space Shuttle design process being one of my first major edits. I'm open to providing help with making new pages if it's within an area of interest of mine.
Outside of Wikipedia, I'm also dabbling a bit in creative writing and worldbuilding (with a couple chapters of a sci-fi novel I picked my nickname from and a space-focused alternate-history in the works) and 3D modeling (Blender). But that's not important.
I can't think of much else to add, sorry. Feel like this page is more userboxes than text at this point... And I'd still like to fit in more (userboxes, that is).
