Usage
{{Solar mass}}→ M☉{{Solar mass|FOOBAR}}→ FOOBAR M☉ (with non-breaking space)
Usually, this will be used as:
{{Solar mass|10}}→ 10 M☉{{Solar mass|{{val|13|1|-2|e=7}}}}→ 13+1
−2×107 M☉
Alternatively, one could use template {{val}} with |u=:
{{val|12|e=3|u=Solar mass}}→ 12×103 M☉{{val|12|e=3|u=M_solar}}→ 12×103 M☉
Parameters
To include a link to solar mass, use the |link=yes parameter (or |link=y):
{{Solar mass|link=yes}}→ M☉
Alternatively, one could use template {{val}} with parameter |ul=:
For output suitable for first mention in prose per MOS:CONVERSIONS, specify a value and set the parameter |first=yes:
{{Solar mass|77|first=yes}}→ 77 solar masses (M☉; 1.53×1032 kg){{Solar mass|1,400,000|first=yes}}→ 1,400,000 solar masses (M☉; 2.8×1036 kg)
