Tempelhof Express Airlines GmbH was a German regional airline based in Berlin or more specificlly Berlin Tempelhof.

The history of the airline goes back to the merger of Saxonia Airlines (SAL) and BSF Berliner Spezialflug in early 1996. The resulting company was named Thuringia Airlines GmbH (TAL) and started operating charter and air taxi flights from the very first week of the year. Nearly at the same time scheduled flights were started to a hanful of domestic destinations but the success was rather limited, and the company ceased operations at the end of the 1998 summer flight schedule.

On 1 November of that same year the corporate name to changed to Tempelhof Express Airlines GmbH. Domestic schedules were relaunched, some of them on Eurowings behalf.[1] The company became profitable in 2000. However, a change in the ownership was imminent, and this led to a shift in the company's business focus and had a negative impact. Tempelhof Express Airlines ceased operations at the end of 2000 and returned its Air Operator Certificate to the German Federal Aviation Office. the assets were merged into OLT (OLT Express Germany).
