Logo

It was noted on the Pres Cafe forum yesterday that, despite its imminent closure, Sky had redesigned Sky Showcase's logo in line with the channel bouquet-wide logo redesigning/rebranding. You can see it on their website here - and the embedded image here - in amongst the redesigned logos of their other channels (and the then-yet-to-relaunch Sky One). Is it worth including this in the article somehow? The image in which the logo is included is pretty high quality to grab it from, but I have no idea if it was actually used on-screen, on EPGs, or in any capacity other than featured in this promotional material. I am not familiar with WP:LOGOS guidelines but the redesigned logo is not currently listed with the others. I also do not believe there are Sky Italia or Sky Deutschland versions of Showcase that would use it. No idea why Sky bothered to have it redesigned. Cheezknight (talk) 17:10, 24 February 2026 (UTC)

Actually, it is listed with the others there. Middle of the bottom row in the "Channels" section. Click on the channel logo, and there's a suite of different forms of the logo available to access. Phinbart (talk) 13:23, 25 February 2026 (UTC)

Wow. No idea how I did not notice that... It turns out that a German Sky Showcase channel does exist if the list on Sky Deutschland is accurate, which explains the new logo. Cheezknight (talk) 13:44, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
