sexual dimorphism section

I would argue that the last paragraph of the section could be removed, as it is completely speculative and not very relevent, and the concept that males of a species will be an "evolutionary vanguard" as far as I can tell is not very widely accepted. 50.225.46.187 (talk) 22:42, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

I don't like the paragraph much. It's hard to understand and the specific relevance to owls is not very clear. One source seems to have more to do with shorebirds. I wonder how hard it would be to find out if that second source from Prague has anything to do with owls at all. With such dubious sources it seems like deletion could be justified. If it's really a tremendously interesting case of an overall point about sexual dimorphism, maybe a link or something could be included in the section. Missing hyperlink to article on diurnality in opening paragraph

Hi! I was just reading about this amazing creature and noticed that in the last sentence of the opening paragraph, the word `diurnal` does not link to the article on diurnality. I found this odd, epsecially considering diurnal is not a very commonly used word. Many people, much like myself, might not already know it.

Therefore, I think a hyperlink to its page would be beneficial to future readers of this article. As I was not able to edit it, I would ask that someone who can might do it instead.
