Overall: The article was created on 26 April, and was nominated for DYK on 3 May, which is a few hours after seven days. It is long enough with 5853 characters (896 words) of readable prose size. No copyright violations, plagiarism or close paraphrasing have been found in the article. The issue with this nomination is the provided hook, which in my opinion is not particularly interesting or intriguing, and its cited source at no point mentions this trend is particularly popular in Europe, just popular in general. Since the picture used is AI generated, it holds no copyright. It also looks good and clear at a 100px. A QPQ is not required for this nomination. @Thegoofhere: The content of ALT2 doesn't appear in the article, and its source doesn't specify Tralalero Tralala as being haram, but the whole Italian brainrot trend. It is also based on the opinion of a single tiktok user, which is no person of authority in the religion. ALT3 is problematic as well because its speculative. The film has not yet been completed, and so the proyect may come to nothing. I propose the following alts as alternatives, and if you approve them then we can proceed with these. @Earth605: Okay, I don't really disagree with you, but I fail to see your point. Are you implying that the rest of ALTs are somehow worse? ALTs 5 and 6 are based on opinions, while 4 its a veryfiable fact not subject to dispute. Does that make it better? NeoGaze (talk) 14:16, 1 July 2025 (UTC)

@Earth605:In reality it's more like ATL 5 is based on opinion when ATL6 is kinda not. Well this discussion should be closed any time now really, so it doesn't even matter that much.

I do not think this should not have been approved. The article asks the question if it is Islamophobic and says that some users said "that the original intent wasn’t meant to be Islamophobic or anti-religious." It does not mention anyone accusing it of being Islamophobic. The cited article reads as if lots of it was written with AI or translated. Aneirinn (talk) 03:45, 8 July 2025 (UTC)

Should Tung Tung Tung Sahur get split from this article into its own article? I want to know what y'all think because it is notable enough, becoming its own meme outside of the context of Italian Brainrot (mentioned in this article), so I want to see if it should also be an article. 😂🤣84Swagahh🤣😂 17:38, 29 April 2026 (UTC)

Absolutely, any venture on to any social media today will show that Tung Tung Tung Sahur has survived and even thrived while the other Italian Brainrot characters have become a so called “dead” meme Mysticpi (talk) 14:35, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

If there is a article about Tung Tung Tung Sahur, then it would not contain anything other than a short physical description, its dialogue and history about who created it, and these information are already stated concisely in the main article.

Formatting issues

unsure how it appears on the desktop version, but on the app, the characters section of this article has difficult to read formatting where the text travels vertically next to the images until it can continue horizontally, and needs to be fixed Whahgnou (talk) 04:30, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
