What is DoorDash? (seriously)
[edit]This article seems to have a large hole in it. Maybe it's just me, but I expected some discussion of DoorDash's business model, or even a description of what they do. Saying it's a food delivery service is not enough detail to answer my questions.
Considering the number of legal actions detailed against DD in this article, it may be of value to include some sort of neutral description of the company's actual business and how it works. I was expecting to read a description of how DD works exactly; how they interact with restaurants and consumers, who gets paid, who's giving what incentives to whom, etc. I just like to know MondoDisco (talk) 20:04, 3 May 2025 (UTC)
- This is a great suggestion. The closest business models I can find are platform economy and gig economy but they don't go very in-depth. I also found this: https://businessmodelanalyst.com/doordash-business-model, but although the author appears competent and unconnected, it is a blog so I'm not sure if it's acceptable as a source. Maybe it would work for a very basic explanation of how DoorDash operates? Cerulean Depths (talk) 21:29, 5 September 2025 (UTC)

Add Puerto Rico from the map
[edit]DoorDash is available in Puerto Rico. Please include it from the map if possible. Thanks. ~2025-34420-04 (talk) 03:17, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
