Impolosion

- An implosion is a great external pressure exerted on an object, as a submarine will implode if it goes too deep due to great water pressure. I believe what we have here is an explosion. ~2026-32167-16 (talk) 00:23, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
- Sources are calling it an "implosion", so that's what we have to go with until a RS says otherwise. TheAlienAdventures (talk) 00:37, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

Potential local sources
[edit]Hey everyone...
First, excellent work all around by the editors on this incident topic. Truly an awesome example of collaborative effort...the way it should be.
I want editors to know not to sleep on local reporting of the event, especially The Daily News (Longview, Washington) and The Columbian (Vancouver, Washington). Both news sites have deeper dives into the incident, including ecological and personal reports. I am not sure if there is an article accessibility limit to non-registered viewers to either site but there used to be.
My thanks to the editors and efforts on this article. Keep the good work going.
