Orune (Sardinian: Orùne) is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) north of Cagliari and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Nuoro. It has 2,022 inhabitants.[2]
Orune borders the municipalities of Benetutti, Bitti, Dorgali, Lula, Nule, and Nuoro.
