Summer Transportation Update

The City of West Palm Beach’s current RideWPB downtown fixed-route and on-demand service concludes on May 31 as the City prepares to launch a new mobility service later this summer.
During the summer transition, limited on-demand service remains available through Rose Trolley and the DDA’s Circuit On-Demand service. Riders are encouraged to plan ahead and allow additional travel time.

Plan Your Trip: On-Demand Ride Options
Circuit is a DDA-supported on-demand ride service operating within the downtown service area. The service provides a convenient way to travel between participating downtown destinations, including restaurants, shops, offices, cultural attractions, transit connections, and parking areas.
Hours: Monday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Fare: Fares vary by pickup and drop-off location and number of passengers. Rides average around $2.
How to ride: Download the Circuit app, enter your pickup and drop-off location, and request a ride.

Rose Trolley is offering limited on-demand service during the summer transportation transition. The service helps connect riders to local destinations throughout West Palm Beach and surrounding areas and described as helping locals and visitors connect with places they love and explore the beauty, culture, and charm of West Palm Beach.
Service area landmarks:
North: Manatee Lagoon
South: Joseph’s Market on Belvedere Road
East: Flagler Avenue
West: Parts of Australian Avenue and Gaines Park, including Roosevelt Estates North and South
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
How fares work:
Rose Trolley service is organized into three fare zones. Zone 1 ($1) is the northernmost zone, Zone 2 ($2) is the middle zone, and Zone 3 ($3) is the southernmost zone. Fares are based on the zones included in your trip. For example, a ride from Zone 1 to Zone 3 is $3.

Parking & Walkability
Downtown West Palm Beach is designed to be explored on foot. Park once, then walk to restaurants, shops, offices, waterfront attractions, hotels, nightlife, cultural destinations, and community events.
Many downtown destinations are within a 10- to 20-minute walk of each other, including Clematis Street, the waterfront, CityPlace, the Brightline station, the Palm Tran Intermodal Transit Center, and nearby dining and entertainment areas.
$1 for the first two hours
$2 for each additional half hour
$20 maximum daily rate
$5 all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, excluding special events
Special event rates may apply, up to $100

Metered parking is available throughout downtown. The City uses parking zones, and rates vary by location.
Zone A: $2.50 per hour, 2-hour maximum
Zone B: $1.50 per hour, 4-hour maximum
Zone C: $1.00 per hour, 6-hour maximum
Drivers should use posted signs, meter instructions, ParkMobile, or the City’s parking information to confirm the correct zone and rate.

Transit Connections
Brightline provides high-speed rail service connecting West Palm Beach with other major South Florida destinations, including Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, Miami, and Orlando.
Located at 501 Evernia Street and within walking distance of downtown destinations, restaurants, offices, and entertainment.
Best for: Regional travel, visitors arriving downtown, day trips, business travel, and car-free connections.

Palm Tran is Palm Beach County’s public transportation system, offering fixed-route bus service, paratransit service, maps, schedules, trip planning tools, and rider information.
The Palm Tran Intermodal Transit Center is located near downtown and connects riders to bus routes, Tri-Rail, and nearby downtown destinations.
Best for: Countywide travel, employees, residents, visitors, and riders connecting to downtown from surrounding areas.
