Schon, das liegt doch eigentlich auf der Hand. Findest du wirklich, dass die Sicht deiner Camera auf ein Buch wie die Schachnovelle von allgemeiner Relevanz ist, und doch ein wenig hinter Zweigs Buch anzusiedeln ist? Wenn du aber auf einem eigenen erschöpfenden Verzeichnis deiner Werke in Commons bestehst, meine Segen hast du, ich werde im Fall einer Revertiereung nichts ändern. Portable Antiquities Scheme

Hi, I can see you've used or uploaded some of these photographs in the past, so you may be interested in an early heads-up that I have started uploading all photographs from the Portable Antiquities Scheme, which should be around 400,000 photographs of archaeologically interesting artefacts, found by the public in England and Wales. It will take a few weeks to finish, I expect. I tweeted about it yesterday here and you can find the project page along with GLAM reports and other links like useful searches of the collection here. Hi Warburg1866! Thank to pay attention to the files I have uploaded last 30 minutes. I just don't understanding why are you removing the categories I have used. They are relevant, despite the fact the restaurants don't have a Wikipedia article for themselves. But Commons categories are not exclusively for Wikipedia purposes, but for Wikivoyage also, for instance. Regards, Sturm (talk) 22:43, 19 September 2017 (UTC)

• I happened to be looking at this page. Sturm, if (as I presume) Category:Pedrinho Frutos do Mar and Category:Tarantella (restaurant) each refer to a particular restaurant, they shouldn't each have a locality as their only parent category. Hello, thanks to your interest for the las picture I have download File:Famille Bruller vers 1910 à Budapest.jpg but it is not clear that it has been made in Budapest and also in 1910. I have contacted the source for have more information and wait for an answer. I am looking for pictures of W:fr Jean Bruller (Vercors) and I don't understand why the family comme back from Paris to Budapest and if in 1910; Jean Bruller is in white costume in center (8 ans) or sitting in front little left with a toy, and 3 or 4 yers old (1905/6) like the other picture I download yesterday. Thanks for your categorization of some stuff from El Picazo. There's no need for you worry as 19Tarrestnom65 and I go picture hunting together. She takes the pictures and I do the categorization. If look carefully, you should fins an invisible category for pictures by us pending categorization. We've just arrived home and she's dene the uploading -mostly El Picazo, also some stuff from Madrid and some manhole covers (every one has their own vices!)- and I'll cetegorize them in a short time. How to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category

When you want to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category, best practice is to mark it with {{SD|C2}} (if it would be OK to re-create it in the future, given that appropriate content becomes available) or {{SD|C1}} (if it is an inappropriate category name that should not be reused). In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page. ("C1" and "C2" come from Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion). Jmabel ! talk 01:31, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

The above templates (SD, speedy, Badname) expand to full speedy deletion requests.

In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page. Blanked categories end up on Special:UncategorizedCategories, which is largely handled by non-admins who cannot delete the categories in question.

Hallo Warburg1866, das scheint der gleiche Maler zu sein, und die zweite Schreibweise ist wohl richtig. Das umsortieren der Bilder könnte auch ich erledigen, aber wenn Du als Autor auf die dann leere überflüssige Kategorie einen SLA stellst, wird der glatt durchgehen. Bei den Bildern gibt es außerdem einen Schreibfehler im Vornamen, aber den muss man m.E. nicht unbedingt korrigieren. Telford (talk) 06:33, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
