Thanks for uploading File:Kit body benfica0102A.png. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{self|cc-zero}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Benfica logos

[edit]

Hi, just messaging to explain my reversal of your edits on the Benfica kits page. Removing logos removes patterning, particularly on 24-25 and 16-17 home kits. Also there is no precedent for the removal of company logos i.e. Adidas. Removing them removes additional detailing on the kit in some cases and doesn't fully make sense. Just wanted to explain to avoid edit warring over it. If you disagree please reply and I'm happy to chat but leave the page as it is for now. Thanks! REDMAN 2019 (talk) 13:32, 26 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

I'm trying to talk this out respectfully. You have not once explained why you keep reverting and are acting as though you own the page which you don't. Please respond so we can figure this out properly. I do not intend on getting into an edit war and if you keep reverting without explanation and refuse to discuss it I will have to raise this with Administrators noticeboard. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 22:51, 15 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Also once again I am happy to talk about this and potentially change my views but so far you have given no reason for why the logos should be removed apart from a copyright claim I can find no evidence of and "I don't like it" which is not a valid argument. @REDMAN 2019 This guy needs to be reported, it happens a lot also with me, and just wait until he delets this chat here just like it did before! 44 Gabriel (talk) 03:47, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User problems#User talk:SLBedit. Edit warring and refusal to engage in discussion.

REDMAN 2019 (talk) 18:58, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Given your continued reversion of REDMAN 2019's edits to this page and your refusal to discuss this, I have indef-blocked you from editing the page until such time as you are willing to engage in discussion. If that is within the next few days, the best place to engage would be COM:ANU#User talk:SLBedit. However, that will eventually be archived. If you wish to wait until a later time to deal with this, please engage directly with REDMAN 2019 at User talk:REDMAN 2019. Once you can show that you are engaging in reasonable dialogue about this, I will lift the block so that there is no further stigma. Feel free to ping me to request that once the dialogue has started. Note, however, that this easy path to have the block lifted does not constitute permission to resume edit warring. If you do that, the next block will be much broader. - Jmabel ! talk 00:57, 12 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
