To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.

Hi, Killy95. I decided to delete your uploads as copyright violations. They were previously published in Facebook, deciding by FBMD... in beginning of special instructions field of metadata. Facebook does not allow republishing its content on other sites, including Commons. If you are photographer of these photos, then please open COM:OTRS page and look, what kind of e-mail should be sent to our permissions department at permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. Dear Killy95 In the past, you contributed to the Wiki Loves Africa competition. This February, you have another opportunity to create beautiful photographs on the theme of "transportation" that could change how the world understands people and culture in your part of Africa. As with previous years, there are also many exciting cash prizes. Wiki Loves Africa is an annual public contest where people across Africa can contribute media (photographs, video and audio) about their environment to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation. Images from the competition have helped millions learn more about Africa and see Africa more clearly from an African perspective. Overall, nearly 5000 people like you have contributed to this photo contest, and contributed 18,000 images about Africa. When does it take place? The 2020 competition will start on the 15th of February 2020 and close on 31st March 2020. What should we contribute? Pictures ! audios ! videos ! The theme for the 2020 contest is... Africa on the Move ! This theme encompasses a host of approaches and is intentionally open to interpretation. Study shows Wiki Love Africa recruitment makes a difference

We are writing because you have participated in the Wiki Loves Africa (WLA) photo competition in the past. Results have been published and winning pictures may be seen here !

This year WLA partnered with the research organization CAT Lab (previously CivilServant) to help us evaluate the effectiveness of one of our recruitment efforts. You may or may not have received a message on your user talk page encouraging you to participate again in this year's competition.

We are excited to share with you their study found our recruitment message was a success and may have resulted in as many as 2,000 additional contributed photos. Hello, I would like to thank you for your renewed participation to ISA contests. As always, your participation is very precious and appreciated.

It took us some time to finalize the winners because we met an issue with user:Czeus25 Masele and needed to investigate the situation (now fixed).

I would like to make a recommandation though... about depict proeminence. I noticed you tend to put all depicts proeminent... it may be out of not understanding what it means ? When a depict describes something of prime importance to the picture, then it should be taggued proeminent.

example here. You put them all proeminent, whilst in truth, only a few really are. Perpahs tomato only. Long hair is not.

in that other example, perhaps woman and cabbage are the only proeminent depicts. Boy is not.

Please test new feature on the ISA Tool (computer-aided tagging)

We have just released a new version of the ISA tool on the Test Server. The new version propose semi-automatic tagging of images, which seeks to assist community in identifying and labelling depicts statements for Commons files.

We are currently looking for feedback with regards to the look, feel, and usability of the tool with the machine vision / metadata-to-concept enhancements in place. In a second stage, we will be testing the quality of the recommandations provided.

We deeply appreciate your feedback, since it will help us determine the next steps of the project.

ISA Tool Workshop - Dec 12th 2022

Greetings.

We released a few weeks ago a new version of the ISA tool on the Test Server. The new version propose semi-automatic tagging of images, which seeks to assist community in identifying and labelling depicts statements for Commons files.

Now we are looking for feedback with regards to

and most importantly, the quality of the recommandations provided.

This is why we are organizing an online workshop on Monday 12th of December, 16h-17h30 UTC+1 (on zoom). We will be very happy if you find the time to join us.
