العربية: المبدأ العام لعملية التضمين، يشمل ذلك تعديل إشارة الحامل بإشارة المعلومات، لتنتج الإشارة المعدلة في الخرج كل من الإشارتين في الدخل قد تكونان إما رقميّة أو تشابهيّة.
English: The general principle of the modulation process, it is a modification of the carrier signal using the Data signal, to produce the modulated signal on the output. Both signals in the input can be either digital or analog.
