About Billy Fellows

Billy is a Senior Features Author for Collider. Having written over 300 articles in just over a year, Billy regularly covers the biggest TV shows and films releasing while also analysing some of the most underrated properties that may slip your attention.
Having studied for an MA in Screenwriting at UAL in 2023, Billy honed his writing skills and also developed his ability to critique the work of other creative minds.
Before that, Billy studied politics at the University of Nottingham, which helped him to bring nuanced and scholarly analysis to the frameworks within which filmmakers and writers have framed their thematic messages.

Industry Experience

A relative newcomer to the industry, Billy used his time during his Master's to pitch his own projects, solo and group ventures, to producers and directors from studios behind media such as Horrid Henry, Humans, and The End Of The F***ing World.
Currently working to bring his own short film to life as well as helping others to create their own media, such as working as crew on award-winning short films such as The Surrogate, every day is another step forward.

Favorite Media

Billy's favourite media is lore-heavy worlds such as The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. It is the ability to immerse oneself, as well as always finding new meanings in paths well-tread, that he finds most fascinating about these worlds.
The escapism into another world is not there to forget about the issues and qualities that exist in our own. It is to escape pre-determined bases of bias and find a framework within which we can analyse problems such as capitalism, fascism, sexism, and countless other debates.
