| “ | I have my own orbit? That is pretty cool! | ” |
– Gravattack using his orbital powers for the first time.[1] | ||
Gravattack is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Galilean from the orbit of the planet Keplorr.[OV Brief 1]
Appearance[]
Ben as Gravattack[]
Being a silicon-based lifeform,[DJW 1] Gravattack is literally a living planet. He is a large, bulky, reddish-brown alien with rocky skin. He is headless, with his face is on his torso, and features a giant mouth with teeth that are also made of rocks,[DJW 2] and a molten lava planet core at the center of his body. His feet are tan with three toes, and he has three fingers and one thumb on each hand. He wears black shorts with green stripes, a green belt with white stripes and the Omnitrix symbol on his forehead.
Albedo as Negative Gravattack[]
Negative Gravattack is magenta and red-colored and his core, eyes, and Ultimatrix symbol are all red.
Bad Ben as Bad Gravattack[]
Bad Ben's Gravattack is violet colored, his core is purple, and his eyes and Omnitrix symbol are mint green.
Powers and Abilities[]
Gravattack can control gravity to manipulate the weight and motion of objects, allowing him to suspend and levitate targets in the air, send them flying back or forth, or slam them down to the ground with hand gestures.[1] His control over gravity allows him to change its direction, allowing him to telekinetically send targets flying upwards[1] or across the air as if they were falling.[2]
Gravattack can increase gravity around someone and crush their body.[3]
Gravattack can place objects into an orbital track, causing them to fly in circles at various speeds[4]. When using his powers, he emits an aura of hazy energy[note 1] which he can also form into walls[8], barriers and domes.[9]
Gravattack can use the laws of general relativity to his advantage and can reduce the speed of objects (or in some cases, creatures) to nothing even if they were moving at the speed of light before.[9]
Gravattack can make matter or energy orbit around him whenever he manipulates his own gravity in order to levitate and retracts his limbs, curling his body to a planetoid sphere.[1]
Gravattack possesses enhanced strength, enough to punch a hole in the ground.[9]
Gravattack has enhanced durability, as seen when he endured physical attacks from Fistrick's armor.[1]
Because he is a living planetoid, Gravattack can survive in the vacuum of space.[10]
Gravttack has a planetoid form where his gravitational powers are increased.
Weaknesses[]
If he takes large amounts of damage to his core, it can cause Gravattack immense pain. This will also cause him to enter meltdown and explode, which can be dangerous enough to destroy the whole area he is in.[11]
Gravattack's large body makes it hard for him to move around in small spaces.[12]
Sudden changes of mass can throw off Gravattack's orbit.[6]
Gravattack cannot stop someone from using energy-based attacks.[2]
In the presence of a deadlock with a Time Beast travelling at light speed and Gravattack trying to stop it with all his gravitational strength, he may accidentally create a black hole, with disastrous consequences.[9]
History[]
Ultimate Alien[]
- Gravattack was unlocked some time prior to Double or Nothing.[note 2]
Omniverse[]
- Gravattack first appeared in A Jolt From the Past, where he defeated Fistrick and saved the Megawhatts with Rook's help.

- In For a Few Brains More, Gravattack was seen twice. Firstly, he broke out of the Proto-TRUK wreckage and fought Ultimate Albedo before being defeated by Negative Armodrillo. Afterwards, Negative Gravattack briefly appeared before going Ultimate.
- In And Then There Were None, Bad Ben as Gravattack tried to capture No Watch Ben before battling Astrodactyl and Build-A-Guy until he was wiped out by the Chronosapien Time Bomb.
- In And Then There Was Ben, Bad Ben as Gravattack was brought back to existence by No Watch Ben as Clockwork.
- In The Rooters of All Evil, Gravattack defeated the Rooters.
- In Fight at the Museum, Gravattack used his powers to keep Exo-Skull stuck in the floor.
- In It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Ben World: Part 2, Gravattack argued with Dyno Mighty for not transforming him into Humungousaur before reverting the latter into Ben 23.
- In Let's Do the Time War Again, Gravattack chased and trapped the Time Beast, accidentally creating a black hole in the process.
- In Malgax Attacks, Gravattack helped Max and Luhley escape from the Chimeran Hammer and traveled back to Galvan Prime with them.
- In A New Dawn, Gravattack appeared for a short time when Ben was cycling through his aliens.

Etymology[]
Gravattack's name comes from the combination of "gravity", his main power, and "attack", the way he mainly uses said power.
Trivia[]
- Like Way Big, Gravattack's size is portrayed inconsistently in many of his appearances. This was due to a problem with the size comparisons.[DJW 7]
- The idea of a transformation with gravitational powers was created very early on in production of Omniverse, even before Derrick J. Wyatt joined the crew.[DJW 8] His name and design were conceived after the powers were.[DJW 9]
- Gravattack's concept name was Graviton.[DJW 10] However, this name was rejected by the legal team as there was a Marvel character of the same name.[CM 1]
- It was Derrick's idea for Gravattack to convert into a planetoid form.[DJW 11]
- Matt Wayne believes that targets of Gravattack's gravakinesis reach a structural limit "long before fusion starts",[MW 1] putting an upper bound to Gravattack's gravikinesis.
- Thus, Gravattack cannot, on his own, create enough gravitational force to create a black hole.[MW 2]
- Gravattack did not make the cut for the Reboot because he would be too powerful for the Earth-bound villains on the show.[DR 1]
- David Kaye's voice for Gravattack was initially lower, but eventually became similar in direction to his voice for Optimus Prime in Transformers Animated.[DK 1]
Notes[]
- ↑ Gravattack's gravity aura was originally colored white before being changed to green beginning in Vilgax Must Croak. Meanwhile, alternate versions of Gravattack are shown generating gravity auras in different colors. For example, Bad Ben's Gravattack generates a dark blue aura[5] while both Negative Gravattack[6] and 17-year-old Weapon XI[7] generate red auras.
- ↑ As of the events of Double or Nothing, Albedo is able to transform into any alien Ben unlocked up to that episode without the need of an Omnitrix or Ultimatrix.[DJW 3] Due to Albedo being able to transform into Negative Gravattack in For a Few Brains More, and Derrick being unsure how Albedo would be able to add more aliens to transform into,[DJW 4] it is inferred that Gravattack was unlocked and available in the Ultimatrix prior to that episode (even though the alien itself was not conceived until Omniverse entered production). Furthermore, it is implied that Gravattack was never locked in the Omnitrix.[DJW 5] Interestingly, Ben was unaware of the transformation until A Jolt From the Past, when he first used it. However, Derrick later stated that his explanation of Albedo only being able to transform into aliens available up to Double or Nothing does not work due to Gravattack and that this made him unsure of Albedo's current roster,[DJW 6] potentially assuming that Gravattack was not available during the events of Double or Nothing. Given that the inference stated above reconciles the mechanism by which Albedo gained his powers and Negative Gravattack's presence, the latest statement by Derrick is ignored.
