I came to America from Taiwan at age 13 — no English, no money, no connections. I graduated from UC Davis, bought my first home in Union City at 26, and have lived there for 28 years raising two sons. I spent a decade as a high-tech professional working with Silicon Valley executives. Today I'm a real estate investor and community advocate who twice blocked high-crime businesses from opening near our schools. I'm fluent in Taiwanese, Mandarin, and English. I'm not a career politician — I'm a problem-solver who answers to CA-14 families, not party machines or donor PACs.
  • I am the only candidate in CA-14 with executive-level technology industry experience. Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure will define our economy and quality of life for the next generation — yet Washington is writing tech policy without anyone who actually understands it. On Day One I will introduce the Department of Technology Act and advocate for elected technology leadership at every level of government, from city hall to Congress.
  • CA-14 families are being priced out of the communities they built. The Bay Area housing crisis is a policy disaster — caused by zoning abuse, permitting delays, and backroom deals with connected developers. Healthcare costs are crushing working families. I will fight to reform federal permitting, expand homebuyer access, lower prescription drug costs, and cut the regulatory burden that squeezes small businesses while big corporations write the rules.
  • I am an outsider who cannot be bought. I have no party machine, no PAC backing, and no obligation to anyone except the residents of CA-14. I have already proven I will stand up to powerful interests — I successfully blocked two high-crime businesses from opening near our schools, and I fought back publicly when party insiders tried to remove me from a seat voters gave me. I will bring that same independence and accountability to Congress.
Technology governance and AI accountability — Congress is making decisions about systems it doesn't understand, and that's dangerous. Also water infrastructure, because California's food security is a national security issue. And campaign finance transparency — dark money from both parties is destroying public trust. As an immigrant and mother, I'm also deeply committed to an immigration system that is lawful, fair, and humane — one that honors those who follow the rules.
