is a community leader, former law enforcement officer, and political candidate based in Atlanta.

  • AFFORDABLE HOUSING

For far too long our District has been plagued with several issues over the years, with electricity, water, and other utilities and high property taxes and they continue to ignore these issues. As your state representative, I will provide the basic human living conditions for every Atlanta and Georgia. Across Georgia, too many families are spending more than 30% of their income on housing the affordability standard set by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

Rising property taxes, stagnant wages, and limited voucher acceptance have widened the gap between supply and demand. I know housing stability strengthens public safety, education, and economic growth.
  • Black men are killing Black men at rates we can no longer ignore. This is not random—it is the result of broken systems, manipulation, and a lack of knowledge dividing our communities. Scripture warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” We cannot demand safety from others if we refuse to create it within our own neighborhoods. In Georgia, gangs drive nearly 65% of crime, with over 127,000 members recruiting children as young as middle school. Current laws punish after crimes but fail to hold leaders and recruiters accountable. We must strengthen gang laws, target organized leadership, and increase penalties for coordinated crime. At the same time, we must protect our youth—teaching them to pick up books, not guns
  • Georgia has one of the strongest entrepreneurial ecosystems in the nation, especially in Atlanta, but too many small businesses and working families still face barriers to capital, contracts, and opportunity. Our focus is on expanding economic growth for every community. We will expand access to capital through a Georgia Small Business Equity Fund with state-backed loan guarantees. We will support local ownership with down payment assistance, increase small business access to state contracts, and invest in workforce training tied to high-growth industries. We will improve childcare, transportation, broadband, and rural infrastructure, while promoting second-chance hiring and enforcing pay equity and anti-discrimination protections.
I experienced homelessness at age 14 and lived nearly nine years without stable housing. What began as pain became purpose—a commitment to ensure no Georgian is left without a safe place to call home. This is not just about passing laws, but ensuring policies are funded, implemented, and reach those who need them.

On any given night, nearly 12,000 Georgians experience homelessness, and up to 59,000 children face housing instability each year, disrupting education and opportunity. While Black Georgians are disproportionately affected, this is not a Black issue or a White issue—it is a Georgia issue.

A bed for the night is temporary; stability is the goal. This campaign is about dignity, opportunity, and ensuring every Georgian has a place
