I'll Apply Common Sense

Official Ballot Statement

Chula Vista City Council, District 2

Russ Hall offers proven, extensive Chula Vista civic experience, including over 32 years serving on four major city commissions—Planning, Economic Development, Parks and Recreation, and Growth Management—serving as Chairperson of each. Russ led the fight for Chula Vista taxpayers against sales tax increases that impact seniors and families struggling to make ends meet. He has consistently led with common sense.

Russ worked with special needs students for 17 years and knows the challenges families face.

As your Councilmember, Russ Hall will apply a common-sense approach to improve quality of life for all citizens. He will prioritize protecting our neighborhoods and ensuring the delivery of premier city services, such as public safety, public works, well-maintained parks and libraries , to efficient road repair and recycling programs.

Russ will implement sensible planning to resolve traffic gridlock and foster economic development in our business districts. He is committed to managing future growth responsibly, ensuring that any density changes respect the voice of the community. By reducing the city budget through fiscal discipline and making fees more sensible, Russ will ensure the only special interest is yours.

Your vote for Russ supports common-sense government for Chula Vista.
