Michael Ratcliffe (Democratic Party) (also known as Cov) is a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives, representing District 28. He assumed office on April 14, 2026. His current term ends on November 3, 2026.
Ratcliffe (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Hawaii House of Representatives to represent District 28. He declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on August 8, 2026.[source]
Joshua Green (D) appointed Ratcliffe to the Hawaii House of Representatives District 28 on April 13, 2026, to replace Daniel Holt (D).
Biography
Michael Ratcliffe earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from California State University, a master's degree from San Francisco State University, and a law degree from the University of Hawaii. Ratcliffe's career experience includes working as an attorney specializing in labor law. He has worked for the Attorney General’s Appellate Division, the Hawaii Supreme Court, and the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals. Ratcliffe has also served on the Kalihi-Pālama neighborhood board.[1][2]
