Laurie Campbell graduated from Ballard High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville in 1988. Her career experience includes working as an educator.[1]

- My top priority is protecting and strengthening Kentucky’s public schools. I oppose diverting taxpayer dollars to private schools, which courts have repeatedly ruled unconstitutional. I believe education policy should focus on fully funding public education, providing pre-K for all, reducing class sizes, and increasing teacher and staff pay.
- I know firsthand what a $13-14 an hour paycheck looks like and it’s not a livable wage I advocate for raising wages, supporting family leave, and closing the gap between CEO pay and worker pay. I believe Kentucky has a system problem, not a people problem.
- Families are doing more with less. I support proactive programs that prevent homelessness and help families before crisis hits. I will call for policies that make childcare and housing affordable and fair.
• Working Families – Raise wages, protect workers, and make Kentucky affordable again.
• Health & Family Support – Protect Medicaid, expand care access, and modernize family leave.
• Integrity in Leadership – Govern with honesty, transparency, and respect.
