Joan Fitzgerald (Democratic Party) is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 46. She assumed office on January 6, 2025. Her current term ends on January 4, 2027.

Biography
Joan Fitzgerald was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She earned a high school diploma from Greendale High School in 1982, a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater in 1986, and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater in 1994. Her career experience includes working as a high school math teacher and tax preparer. Fitzgerald has served as a member of the Jefferson Education Association, the Fort Atkinson Booster Club, and Moms Demand Action. She served as an elected Jefferson County Supervisor from 2019 to 2024.[1]
