Cragg's campaign website included the following statement:[6]
| “ | My professional experiences running Insurance operations, specifically a group benefits company that provided Life, Health, Disability coverages to small businesses across 38 states covering tens of thousands of insureds. That coupled with my small business background gives me the unique perspective as a provider of coverage and as a consumer of products. I have been part of a team that has drafted policies, priced coverage, built software and hardware systems to manage a business, developed marketing and sales plans and contracted thousands of insurance agents and brokers to sell and service those coverages. These experiences make me ‘QUALIFIED LIKE NO OTHER CANDIDATE’. ...
Delaware citizens need a change in the way we approach insurance regulation in the state that puts consumers first. Skyrocketing consumer healthcare costa are a direct result of a shell game played by the incumbent and the industry, and it is time that we make the system work for Delaware Citizens.[7] |
