Asif Raza and General Manager, University Advancement Office, NUST Maria Qadri on June 11 and Rs5 million to CEO HU Foundation (HUF) Parvez Ghias and CFO HUF Feroze Cawasji on June 12 at PPL head office in the presence of their representatives and company officials.

Ismail Kumbhar, Director, University Advancement, SAU thanked SSGC for collaborating with the University in this Awareness Drive and lauded the Company management and its executives for taking stakeholders such as the common citizens in confidence for waging a decisive war against the menace of UFG and theft of natural gas.

He has served on the board of directors of Duquesne University from 2007 to 2016, chairing the audit and finance committee and serving on the executive and university advancement committee.

Students and graduates from 21 women's colleges of KP and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) attended the fair, where they met more than 30 employers who offered jobs to graduates and internships to students, said Sehrish Zafar, assistant director university advancement and media.

For one family in Joliet, their holidays weren't burdened by the hassle of financial constraints, all in thanks to Saint Xavier University's Office of University Advancement.

Ismail Kumbhar, a focal person of the SAU and Director University Advancement and Financial Assistance in his welcoming address attached the hope as the event has brought Pakistani and Chinese scientists, researchers and professionals to present their latest research results and ideas in different areas of agriculture with particular focus on mechanization, breeding, soil sciences and postharvest technology.

Among the high-profile speakers were Prof Nabil Baydoun, vice-chancellor for enterprise and university advancement at HBMSU; Li Jiping, executive vice-president of the China Association for the Promotion of Development Financing; and Xie Wenbin, president of the Xinjiang Eurasian Research Institute.

Swan came to Western from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he was the assistant chancellor for University Advancement from 1995 to 2000 and again from 2004 to 2009.
