The team then decided to adopt the "oceans policy" theme developed by both the National Association of Urban Debate Leagues (NAUDL) and the National Forensics League (NFL) in order to tie into the extensive research already conducted on a national level and to integrate the classroom dialogue into a national dialogue with debate leagues across the nation.
