DENR's undersecretary for solid waste management and local government units, was earlier quoted in news reports as saying that the Manila Bay rehabilitation will take seven years to complete and a budget of not less than P47 billion.

DENR Undersecretary for field operations, said in statement that the
DENR and local government units will strictly enforce all environmental laws in connection with the election period and will penalize those who will violate these rules.
In its 2017 audit report, the COA questioned why the
