Tunnels Park
Our recently renovated park, adjacent to the Gallitzin
Tunnels, exhibits a restored 1942 Pennsylvania Railroad N5C Caboose.
Visitors can use the ramp and platform to climb aboard this unit.
The caboose has been restored to its original 1942 condition where
visitors can see the sleeping quarters, eating area, old fashioned
pot bellied cooking and heating stove, cupola, air-brake system,
lighting facilities, bathroom facilities, signal lights and an observation
post looking down on the newly installed PRR Walkway. Children can
romp in the play area which features a wooden train. An operating
vintage PRR position-light signal "guards" the entrance to the park.
Excellent area for picture taking. Handicapped accessible.

Open from Sunrise to Sunset, 7 days per week
